Emaar home modification NOC

The short answer

Emaar Community Management says any alteration to an Emaar villa must be approved by Emaar. Owners apply for a NOC through the Home Modifications section of their community portal. Emaar's permit factsheet lists pergolas, planter boxes, garden gates and fences as modification work. External changes that alter the villa's look are not permitted, and work that needs a building permit still needs one after the NOC.
